Bubs Choose Cloth - What does your baby want?

Oz Cloth babies have made their choice.

George

George loves his wool & cashmere woollybottoms shorties. Last thing at night after his night nappy goes on, with the cover over, he delights in patting his nappy. When he finds them hanging to dry on the change table he pulls them down and rolls around on the floor with them!

Henry

Henry tried his first cloth nappy at the age of 4. We were keen to try them as he stubbornly refused to take off his night disposable until he had pooed in it. He loved the cloth nappy, even though it was plain white with a white cover, and refused to ever wear a disposable again. He also happily takes it off in the morning to go to the toilet, and has never pooed in cloth.

Because of all your help we are making the transition to cloth, albeit very slowly as money is tight at the moment. So, my stash is very small but I am noticing a difference in the amount of disposables going in the bin already.

B loves the frog cover I got so much that we had a hissy fit at nappy change time when I had to put a disposable on. All I heard was "frog frog frog". So, B is now sleeping upstairs with a disposable on with the frog cover over the top!

My 3 1/2yo still needs a nappy most nights (and woe betide you if you try to get a disposable on him!!! "Noooo, sposables are itchy, noooo. I want a soft cloth nappy." He is about 17-18kg atm and we use a BabyBeehinds Hemp Honey plus a bi-folded 6layer hemp booster.

Cari

How cute is that! My 2.5yo has learned to use the toilet during the day but has a few nights a week where he still wee's so he's wearing a Wonderoo at night and he LOVES them! The other night they were all dirty so he had to wear a leftover disposable (I have a total of 3 of them in the house now) and he complained and kept saying 'weararoonappy weararoonappy'

Luke:

I was about to put a fresh nappy on Luke this afternoon, just taking the top one off the pile as usual, when he started whingeing and crying at me. I asked him what he needed, and to use his words, and he pointed and said "Pink nappy! Pink nappy!" Looking over to where he was pointing - the marble fleece orange-pink Sandra's Stuffable, halfway down the pile. So I took it out and asked him if that was what he wanted, and he nodded in satisfaction as I put it on him, with him saying "Pink nappy. Good nappy, good nappy."

Lachlan:

Martin was dressing Lachlan after his bath and instead of walking around the corner to get a clean nappy out of the washing basket he dug around in the nappy bag yelling out that there were no nappies left. Next thing I hear is Lachlan crying "no ukky bappy daddy, no ukky bappy", it was a horrible cry, so I asked what was happening, he said "I found a disposable in the bottom of the bag that Lachie had at your mums when you were in hospital having Lily.

Lachlan was crying because Martin had tried to put the disposable on him! The power of cloth and a 23 month old!
